People having Fixed mindset are afraid of taking challenges, they easily give up and they fear that if they take challenge and if they fail, people will make fun of them and their lack of skill will become very evident hence they decide to avoid taking challenges, They want to achieve something great in their life but fear to take up challenges.

But Growth mindset people have clear idea about their passion, hence they take up challenges or take risk in order to move closer to their goals, because they know, challenges will help to grow and it’s a kind of opportunity, and they know challenges make you more persistent, you keep o doing it until and unless you don’t win it or achieve it. They embrace those challenges.

Growth mindset people also know that taking challenges or risk just for fun will not move them ahead, hence risk and challenges must be taken with proper understanding and wisdom.

Hence you should accept challenges in order to move towards your goal, and this will help you to develop a growth mindset.

Fixed Mindset vs Growth Mindset 3. Put more efforts

People with fixed mindset easily give up without putting more efforts for the thing they always wish for, but people having growth mindset keep on putting efforts until and unless they don’t get what they always dreamed about. Because they understand the difference between wish and decision, it’s their decision which forces them to keep on putting efforts until they don’t get what they really wanted.

Fixed mindset people think that efforts are unnecessary and will not get any extra result from it, whereas growth mindset people think that efforts are essential in order to get the best outcome.

Fixed mindset people think you put more efforts only when you think that you are not good enough in something, whereas growth mindset people believe that efforts are essential for path or mastery, no matter how good you are in something extra efforts will give you extra results.

For example, an intelligent or clever student isn’t born with intelligence but it is their efforts hard work and focus which makes them intelligent and a topper of the class.

Fixed Mindset vs Growth Mindset 4. Accept Feedbacks with smile

Example, suppose you are speaking in English or any other language, and someone or your friend corrects you, How you will react?

A person with fixed mindset will for sure get defensive, offended or at least for sure feel bad but a person with growth mindset take that feedback or correction positively with a smile and find it very useful,  because they know feedbacks help a person to learn and improve but fixed mindset people will take it personally.

Even big companies take feedback about their brand, because they know how feedbacks can help them to improve and how that improvement will make them more successful, hence never take feedbacks as criticism or an insult but take it as a medium of learning or improving.

And a very important thing, if you are giving someone feedback, any company or any friend or anyone, Don’t give it in a fun way, but always remember and always make sure that your feedback is KIND, HELPFUL AND SPECIFIC.
